Lighting for Photography

I finished a photography class a couple weeks ago. These are a some of the pictures I took for assignments. I learned how to light different setups, such as glass or a white subject on a white background. The pictures below show some of the setups.
On a different note, Evelyn made an adorable robot called an Ebot (E for Evelyn :). I used it in my 'lighting metal' assignment). She used all sorts of metal pieces found around the house. He has a measuring cup head and a frosting tip hat!

Clear Fall Night

It was late and I was reading a book when Christian said I should come and some take pictures of the moon. I was really enjoying my book but ended up going  upstairs and taking some through a window. It was a beautiful night with a clear sky and a couple wispy clouds. We eventually went outside in the cold blowing wind to photograph the stars. It was fun! These are a couple of the pics we took.

Photoshop stuff

This is some stuff I've done for my Adobe class. Its a lot of fun! I use a book and go through the projects with the images provided by the book and then do the projects over again with my own images (and usually with my own spin). So, the techniques, and most of the time formats/ideas aren't my own. These are my favorites so far. 

I did the text and the whole mirror thing when Christian said I should add the cracks to the 'mirror'. So that was his idea!

 This is supposed to look like its a miniature or toy model by blurring the background and foreground a bit.
